Coolie Advance Booking Report 2025
Rajnikant’s coolie advance booking India started on a bumper note. It became the fastest film to clock ₹ 10 crore advances for first day in Tamil Nadu. It also crossed ₹ 4 crore mark in Kerala in some time which shows the film has genuine hype. As of now, Coolie has already crossed ₹ 70 crore as advances for opening day including premieres with about ₹ 40 crores coming from the overseas markets alone.
The Hindi version of Rajinikanth’s Coolie is called Coolie The Powerhouse and despite less screens and shows it is doing very good numbers in its advances. The top national chains namely Pvr, Inox and Cinepolis have already sold more than 18,000 tickets for Day 1 which means the film is set for a stellar start and if the momentum continues it can open with ₹ 7 crore plus in Hindi alone. In the core Hindi markets, namely the smaller B & C centres the Hindi version of Coolie is selling huge number of tickets but due to cheap tickets in those circuits the advance gross doesn’t seem to high but the footfalls are higher than most Kollywood films dubbed in Hindi.
Coolie advance booking Overseas is solid with North America currently standing at $2.85M for opening day including premieres. It has already become the first Tamil film to score a $2M+ premiere gross in USA & Canada but here Coolie has done it in the advance booking stage itself which is shocking and unbelievable.
One must note that Coolie is dominating War 2 in each and every market be it overseas or India as far as the opening day is concerned and that Coolie data does not include Sri Lanka, entire Middle East, Singapore, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana data after which it will become a bigger sensation and in all probability could score a near $9M opening which would be unreal.
The highest opening day is Baahubali 2 The Conclusion with $11.25M opening day and Coolie could very well be second at $9M+. Coolie has already crossed $850K advance booking in Gulf alone which includes majorly the UAE and a few markets outside it. Expect a massive surge when other markets in Middle East Open Bookings.
Coolie release date is falling on 14th August 2025 which is the same as War 2 Release Date and let’s take a look at the pre-sales of War 2 in India and Domestic markets.
War 2 (2025) Advance Booking Status
Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 advance booking is having a poor trend. While it is not an outright disaster but it is underwhelming as it is a part of India’s biggest universe called Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe. The franchise is completely star-driven which started off with Salman Khan back in 2012 in the form of Ek Tha Tiger. The negative is that despite having a huge Telugu star Jr NTR in the film, the initial advance booking did not happen overseas.
As per our War 2 Advance Booking Report 2025, War 2’s Hindi version will not be able to surpass the Day 1 number of its prequel War (2019) which opened to a ₹ 50 crore plus nett number. No one knows what went wrong but the poor assets have hampered the pre-release buzz of the film significantly. War 2 advance booking overseas has barely crossed the $1M mark so far while its rival Coolie has already crossed the $4M mark way back and is now heading towards $4.5M. War 2 ka Advance Booking Report also showcases that the top national chains barely sold 22K tickets in first 24 hours which is a very disappointing sign. In fact, the film is struggling to beat Hrithik Roshan’s last film Fighter which was a non-franchise film as far as advance booking is concerned. However, the second day is showing some movement but that isn’t due to star-power or buzz but it solely due to the big Independence day holiday.
Cast of War 2 has NTR and now the hopes are pinned on the Telugu numbers as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana bookings are yet to begin.
