He is no Tiger Zinda Hai Villain nor John Abraham of Pathaan instead feels like an Emraan Hashmi of Tiger 3. But, the good news is this is just the Trailer and it is too early to judge, but as they say, sometimes just a look tells you the entire story.
The colour palette is inconsistent and the CGI is underwhelming too and not to forget that Siddharth Anand is far superior when it comes to managing all this.
In short, Hrithik Roshan presence saved the poor Teaser but it is still repetitive and follows a template. Siddharth Anand is known to make grand action films and even the posters of his films shine but here, the poster looks fan made.
War 2 release date is 14th August 2025 and Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie is also releasing on the same day. While War 2 cast has Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advance, Jr NTR, Coolie has a huge star cast and is expected to be the most hyped Tamil film.

If NTR has a proper villain role, most will not be interested in watching as the cinema culture is such that every fan base will want to see his or her idol as the hero.
Nevertheless, the neutral audiences and NTR’s fan base will ensure good opening down South but War is a popular franchise down South and Hrithik Roshan is one of the very few to have a big market down south.
