What is the Mastiii 4 Plot about?

Amar (Riteish Deshmukh), Prem (Aftab Shivdasani), and Meet (Vivek Oberoi) are three friends who live in the UK. Amar works at a zoo as a ‘master-mator’ for the zoo animals, while Prem is a doctor, and Meet works in the automobile industry. Amar, Prem, and Meet are married to Bindiya (Elnaaz Norouzi), Geeta (Ruhi Singh), and Aanchal (Shreya Sharma), respectively. 

Due to various reasons, they are not happy with their married lives. One day, the three attend the wedding anniversary of their friends, Kamraj (Arshad Warsi) and Menaka (Nargis Fakhri), where they suspect that Kamraj is cheating on his wife. 

Later, the three catch Kamraj having fun with ten girls. To this, Kamraj informs the three friends that he has been permitted a ‘love visa’ from his wife. Under this love visa permit, Kamraj is allowed to have extramarital affairs for one week. The three friends love this concept and go on to ask their own wives for love visas too. 

What works in Mastiii 4?

If you have watched the Mastiii 4 trailer, you may guess that there is nothing to appreciate in the film. However, you would be surprised to know that there is actually something good, which is the production value, which makes the film look rich and visually appealing. Besides, a handful of jokes are spread across the film that land successfully and can make you laugh. That’s it for the film’s appreciation.

What Does Not Work in the Mastiii 4 Film?

Now that appreciations have left the picture, Mastiii 4 has endless drawbacks from the whole team, including the Mastiii 4 cast. With collective efforts, the team makes you wonder why you bought the tickets for this movie. While it doesn’t shy away from taking creative liberty for its vulgar humor, it fails to entertain for more than 20 seconds. Its vulgar comedy would have been deemed appreciable only if it were funny, which is not the case in this practical world.

The initial half has nothing special to talk about other than the character entries and perversion-filled humor. Even the second half depends entirely on toilet humor for the film to progress and ends at a twist you can only pretend not to see coming. In the second half, you can only wait for the film to end or walk out and wonder which disaster led you to buy the ticket(s) for Mastiii 4.

While the three male leads in the cast of Mastiii 4 film, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani, are used to carrying the Masti series through such humor and overacting, they clearly fail to excite the audience in this fourth installment. In front of the three, nothing was expected from and nothing has been delivered by the female leads – Elnaaz Norouzi, Shreya Sharma, Ruhi Singh, and Nargis Fakhri.

Tusshar Kapoor and Shaad Randhawa’s characters are a missed opportunity to give birth to some actual fun. Meanwhile, Arshad Warsi has disappointed a lot due to his character being let down by the writing.

Even Milap Zaveri has done an awful job as the director and screenplay writer of Mastiii 4, making sure the audience doesn’t get the “paisa vasool” feeling anytime during the movie. The story and dialogues by Farrukh Dhondy and Abhinav Vaidya, respectively, prove to be two of the driving forces behind what Mastiii 4 has turned out to be. Even a popular heroic dialogue from Main Tera Hero (2014) is blatantly copied in Mastiii 4, clearly showing the negligible number of efforts from the writers.

With such a never-ending list of disappointments in every department, one really wonders what purpose the movie served by being made. 

How is the Music of Mastiii 4?

Mastiii is definitely not a franchise known for its music, and the same is the case for Mastiii 4. None of its songs, whether it be the film’s theme, Rasiya Balama, Pakad Pakad, or One in Crore, feels good to listen to.
