The late 2010s and early 2020s of Bollywood saw the development of several cinematic universes in India, which include the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), currently the most successful cinematic universe of Bollywood. After Stree 2 became an all-time blockbuster at the box office, the standards of the MHCU reached a new high. After the mega success of Stree 2, Thama has become one of the most awaited projects among Maddock Films upcoming movies. In the past, Ayushmann Khurrana was a name known for choosing films offering a great blend of entertainment and unique plots. What Is The Thama Release Date?

As of the Thama release date, this Ayushmann Khurrana​ New Movie is scheduled to release on Diwali 2025, i.e., October 21, 2025. It will clash with another romantic movie, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in the lead and is directed by Milap Zaveri. Only if the Harshvardhan Rane starrer can generate a significant hype till its release can it put up a fair box office battle. In any other case, Thama would be the priority of the audience for a better theatrical watch this festive season.

The cast of Thama includes many exciting names coming together. Actress Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the film. Besides Rashmika in Thama, other talents like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal play the leads. The supporting cast of the film includes Panchayat fame Faisal Malik, with Malaika Arora making a cameo. Varun Dhawan is also expected to make a cameo as Bhediya, which is currently an unconfirmed report.
