After the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan is back on the big screens with the comedy drama film Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir Khan rejects Rs 120 crore deal on OTT platform
Before the release of the film, this latest Aamir Khan movie had gotten several big offers from big OTT platforms. Initially, Netflix offered a good amount to the producers to buy the digital streaming rights of Sitaare Zameen Par. However, Aamir Khan stood strong on his decision and rejected this offer.
Later, Amazon Prime Video offered the team a huge sum of Rs 120 crore to buy the digital streaming rights. This amount is higher than the entire budget of the film but still, Aamir Khan rejected this offer. If the deal had materialized in any case, Amazon Prime Video would have been the final Sitaare Zameen Par OTT platform, making the film join the original Spanish version and the American Hollywood version on the same platform. Now if you are waiting for Sitaare Zameen Par on OTT platform watch online, you may not get to watch the film for a long time.
