At the centre of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do movie is Prajapati Pandey, a forest officer from Prayagraj living peacefully with his wife Aparna, played by Wamiqa Gabbi. Aparna is ambitious, emotional, and determined to launch her own news channel someday. Their married life looks smooth until Chanchal Kumari enters the picture. Played by Sara Ali Khan, Chanchal is secretly in love with Sunny, the son of local MLA Gajraj Tiwari.
