Salman Khan’s Sikandar Movie pre-sales has a mere $175K from North America, $100K from Gulf, $50K from Australia and New Zealand while remaining $150K is from Europe and UK. In North America, the final pre-sales are around $110K for premieres and $175K for Day 1 + Premieres. The film will take an opening depending on early talk. 
The total advance booking for overseas opening day including premieres is $455K. There are 30 hours left for the first overseas show commence and it will be interesting to see the final advance booking. The momentum needs to improve as its just the Sunday in the weekend overseas and weekdays will barely perform. These are in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 level and in Gulf its near Singham Again but for Salman Khan, it is a huge disappointment.
 

How is the Advance Booking as why such numbers?

In simple words, the numbers are poor. This may be due to various factors. The numbers are better than most films but not for an A lister like Salman Khan. The overseas opening may struggle to hit even 50% of what Tiger 3 opened with. The India number cannot be predicted due to the Sunday and pre-Eid factor. Inside Box Office spoke to the trade officials and the members are expecting Rs 35 crore to Rs 40 crore opening in nett. But we are expecting much lower numbers due to the poor momentum. Yes, if the momentum kicks off, then there will be hope but as of now, not much to expect. This is solely due to Salman Khan star-power and Sunday power which means a holiday. But in real terms, these numbers were never expected. These are low, disappointing numbers which pretty much seals the fate of the film, if the film is not good. If its solid, then these numbers wouldn’t matter. But, a lot was expected but it seems like Salman Khan’s goodwill has been hugely hurt and the reputation among cinema goers has declined hugely.
