What is helping the Toxic Advance Booking Report Day 1 Sales Data?

Four years ago, a storm named KGF 2 entered our lives and ever since, Rocky Bhai is the name that is on everyone’s lips. Yash returns after KGF Chapter 2 now with the Toxic director Geetu Mohandas, who has acclaim for her work but never really entered the full-blown commercial world of filmmaking. Toxic does not benefit from a sequel factor, but has Yash coming after the 2022 biggie, donning the same look and feel, which has helped the film.
On paper, Toxic may not be a sequel, but the gangster world and a dark setup make it look like one in the minds of the audience. But it was the first impression of the ‘Introducing Raya’ Teaser that helped Toxic: A Fairy Tale for the Grown-Ups gather momentum, further boosted by the Toxic trailer that was perfect for its target audience, as described by Inside Box Office at the time of its release.
Besides all of this, one has to admit that Rocking Star Yash is now among the top Pan-India actors of the country, and his choice of films has made it possible.

Yash’s film Toxic to Release Across 12,000 Screens

Kannada movies have never appealed to audiences across the globe, and Yash’s Toxic aims to change this. This gangster action entertainer has been shot in Kannada and English, made on a total budget of Rs 500 crore, and is set to release across 12,000 screens worldwide, including IMAX, giving Toxic massive release worldwide.

How Much Has Toxic Made in its Advance Booking Overseas?

Toxic has made about $1.5M (Rs 14.50 crore) through its advance sales overseas, with a few hours left, which may appear to be small but is a huge deal for an original Kannada film. The overseas market for Kannada films is too small, with Kantara and the KGF series being the only standouts. The best areas are Australia, the UK and the Gulf region, followed by North America. Other markets are also picking up.
Interestingly, it has beaten the lifetime collections of all Kannada movies overseas barring KGF 2 and Kantara Chapter 1. Including weekend pre-sales, it has already become the highest grossing Kannada movie overseas, only behind KGF Chapter and Kantara Part 1.

How is Toxic Movie Hindi Advance Booking in North India?

This is a massive figure, and it still has a few hours left before the first show starts.
Across the Indian National Chains, the film has already sold 200K tickets, which is the highest number for a standalone South Indian film, beating Kalki 2898 AD and RRR. Here’s a list of top advances in Indian National Chains (PVR Inox and Cinepolis) for South Indian films dubbed in Hindi.

How Are the All-India Bookings for Toxic New Movie 2026?

Toxic’s advance bookings started in a phased manner, and every market has showcased a phenomenal initial rush. The pan-India initial rush without a star director and any religious undertone shows how big a crowd-puller Yash has become, post the success of the KGF series. The main villain shown in the assets is Yash himself, which makes it even more historic.
The movie has crossed Rs 50 crore in advances in India alone, with another Rs 15 crore or so coming from the overseas markets, and the total worldwide figures have already crossed Rs 65 crore, and that’s not the final number.

Prediction and Opening Note

Toxic is sure to become Yash’s second Rs 100 crore opener globally post KGF: Chapter 2. The Hindi Version is looking to score a gross of over Rs 50 crore, which is a huge number and the biggest opening for a standalone film, surpassing Hindi films released in 2025 and 2026 and the second biggest this year, only behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
